Asian American Hip Hop Group Hits #2 on ITunes

Asian American hip hop took new strides as the single, “Like a G6” (featuring Cataracs & Dev) by the Far East Movement, moved up to #2 on Itunes Charts and #10 on Billboard. The group, also known as FM, consists of members Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif and DJ Virman, who represent multiple generations of the Chinese, Filipino, Korean, and Japanese backgrounds. We give them props for their success in the American music industry, which is breaking new ground in the world of Asian American hip hop.
