| Asian American Leadership Conference at Yale - High School Conference Finding the ME in Asian American At this conference, we invite high school students to discuss issues Asian Americans face today and how to effectively address those issues. Student leaders and faculty members of Yale will lead the workshops and moderate discussions. We will have lectures and smaller seminar styled sections. In addition, we hold social activities as breaks for the students to network and a debriefing session to further encourage discussion among the students. Through these sessions, we hope to give our attendees a taste of what activism means and how to be an effective leader. Schedule of events Registration & Breakfast: 9:00-10:00 AM
This year, we are accepting 150 students and will admit students by application. The fee for the conference is $25 and is due on or postmarked by Tuesday, October 25. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a complimentary conference T-Shirt will be provided, but transportation costs are not. Limited financial aid is available. You can mail a $25 check to Politcal Action and Education Committee
***UPDATE*** We are now taking applications until Thursday, October 27 at 8:00pm. All accept students will be contacted within 24 hours with followup payment information, liability forms, and transportation information. Checks must be postmarkd by Saturday, Ocbter 29, and is the preferred method of payment.
